"A dead simple web-based count down timer that you'll (almost) never be without." — Lifehacker

Easy to use and easy to love.

From the beginning E.ggTimer has been easy to use. Just type some time in to the input or URL bar and a timer starts up for your specified time. This simplicity has helped E.ggtimer get a lot of fans. Check it out!

Technical Specs

E.ggTimer was originally created in Flash and while some Flash elements remain for older browsers it is now HTML and JavaScript.

The back end is a simple PHP page. It uses the default strtotime method to parse time and then outputs the requested time in milliseconds to the page. Javascript does the rest on the client.
